The FCS has done really well against the mountain west. Begs the question how bad is the mountain west this year?

Not really.

Tried telling you guys the MVFC is really really good. Top to bottom, it is a better league than some of the FBS conferences. Probably a notch below the MW overall, but not by much.

If you gave NDSU, SDSU, Illinois State additional scholarships and put them in the MW, they all would be competitive on an annual basis.

Personally, I think NDSU or SDSU could win the conference right now.

If you aren’t P5 or maybe consistent non P5 teams like Boise/BYU or a Norte Dame, there is very little separating your FBS program from top FCS programs.

Boise St would beat NDSU 9 times out of 10 and 7-8 or them would be by 3 TDs. Wyoming would probably split even with them winning in Laramie or losing in Fargo, and Wyoming looks to be a bottom third MW team. I don’t doubt the top of the FCS is competitive with the bottom 50-60 FBS teams but there is a big difference once you get to the top of the G5 and low P5. NDSU would probably be a 6-7 win team in the MW.

If you honestly think Wyoming would split with NDSU, you are seriously fucking high.

It would not be pretty of these two programs played. I honestly don’t think it would be competitive.

Wyoming barely, and I mean barely, beat Wofford at home....and the separation between a Wofford and NDSU is significant.

I like how you can say wofford is statistically a good team but in reality they are not all while smiling.

Can we stop debating this clown?

At the end of the day NDSU is welcome to come play FBS football on a weekly basis. I’m sure they wouldn’t have a problem finding a home conference wise. But they choose to stay FCS. So until you actually grow a pair and come up to play, spare us the week in week out domination talk. It’s ridiculous that 5 years later we still have NDSU fans here trying to tell us about how they WOULD dominate the MW but choose to stay in their small pond.

Not sure why the fuckwad is here to be honest. He fails epically to realize we were the walking dead in week #4, and completely played down (DOWN) to the level of the competition - Wofford. A common occurrence given our circumstances.

That big-fish little-pond chest thumping is hilarious. Encourage your team to step up a level if you have the balls.

Easy

That Wofford team you barely beat? NDSU beat that team, more or less the identical version of this year’s Wofford team, 42-10 last year.

It was not a competitive football game. It was 42-10 in the third quarter when NDSU yanked the starters.

The FCS voters are notorious for over ranking of teams. A lot of FCS teams face limited competition in their conference and put up inflated numbers. Then you have conferences like the MVFC that beat up on each other and get punished.

Get outta here. You’re ridiculous

A few summers ago I played pickup soccer and beat a team that had two guys who now play in the Premier League in soccer. So by transitive property, I'd do pretty damn well in the Premier League.

Since I've already proven myself, though, I don't need to try to play in the Premier League, obviously.

Move up or shut up. Geezus. So done with your little brother antics.

Absolutely spot on phxpoke. If NDSU is that good, there are plenty of G5 conferences they could move up to. Quit playing the old "we would kill you guys if we were FBS" bull shit 2011BisonAlumni. Make the move and then let's see if your beloved team is the next BSU, or if you fuckers would end up being the next SJSU. Until and unless you move up, your argument of superiority is just idiotic. Jesus, some of you guys are like dealing with BYU fans with your arrogance and holier-than-thou attitudes.

This is Bohl's 5th year?

The fact NDSU fans still take time out of their day to argue with fans of their former coach's new team says it all, doesn't it?

Do something more productive with your life.

It's so incredibly stupid to compare scores vs teams you've played from different years. Nothing could be dumber. And yes. Wyoming would go at least .500 vs the beezun or however the mouth breathers of North Dakota pronounce Bison bison
