Obviously if Brandon decided to stay, DC must have got more money in his salary for the coordinators. Breske coached the secondary while he was here. English defenses have been getting progressively worse since he took the DC job. We just lost our secondary coach....

Bring back Breske!

Actually, I think English is a year away from having the personnel to be pretty damn good on defense, but still, if we are serious about improving the team, Breske would do it.

Would anyone else like to see Breske as DC?
 
English needs to be relieved of his DC job. I like the guy. He's a good coach, great recruiter, and a good guy, but his play calling sucks. Keep him on the staff, but bring in a new DC.
 
I really like Breske at Montana.. his defense is frigging awesome. This year he had an All-American linebacker and All-American corner, the corner is a top 5 corner in the upcoming draft. Breske's defense raised hell for teams.
 
Say we match what CSU is paying. 1.5 million. That's .7 million more than we're paying our coaches under the old contract. Split it three ways and give it to the head coach, o.c., and Mike Breske. Every one of them gets a 233 thousand dollar raise. Let Gregg Brandon and Breske know that they get the head gig when DC leaves and the other one is next in line after that.
 
My bet is that Christensen FEARED for his next job as soon as he heard that Brandon's pal at Illinois wanted him. Without Brandon, Christensen would be in a HEAP of trouble and he knows it. Good on him for fearing the loss and bugging Tom Burman until a way was figured out to keep Coach Brandon. Money and promises were handed out today, for sure.

Charges were dropped today... Missoula PD is in some deep shit though.. they have a cop who's a little taze heavy..

Of course he is staying. You have to get an offer to be able to take a job. Never happened.
 
i heard some other allegations released the other day about tru and two other players... it could be real bad dating back to freshman year

I wouldn't believe any of it yet.. lots of details still missing. No one even knows if the FB team is involved at this point. Next week should be interesting when the PI finishes their investigation..

Breske, Breske, Breske! I was around the team a lot when Breske was there. I had the opportunity to sit through some film sessions and such- I loved the guy. He reminds me a lot of what Wyoming football is about.
