There's at least a Wyoming connection with UConn. Former Cowboy Athletic Trainer James Doran now serves for the Huskies.

I like UCONN. Who would've thought a small school in Canada would do so well in such a big tournament.

To be honest, I don't like either team. I'm tired of UConn. I hate Kentucky basketball.
I'm watching a little of cbs 11 ktvt in the DFW area and the poll they just put up on the screen about who will win according to viewers says 85% think Kentucky will win and 15% think Connecticut will win.
One of the news anchors that I like a lot, Tracy Kornet, is married to Frank Kornet who played at Vandy and professionally. Their oldest son played somewhere, I think. Then their daughter plays at Oklahoma. Their youngest just finished his freshman year playing for Vanderbilt. He was not recruited much and was going to walk on at SMU but things happened and a place opened up for him at Vandy, where his mother also went. And he grew about 10 inches in a year and is now a 7 foot forward!

I'm glad UCONN won over Kentucky since I hate UK bb.
It's funny how things happen like the AAC is a first year conference that was rather disrespected by the jerks who put together the tournament field..... UConn lost all 3 times to Louisville (who I hate too) and both times to SMU and once to Stanford, Cincy and Houston.
And then a lot of other that I could say and they win the National Title! Oh, man!
