Please help me...Why in the world is Derrious shooting all of those crappy shots!?!?!?! I think he needs to be reminded that he is not a scorer. I would much rather have adams or Sobey launching 3s than him! I am angry that we suck at the 3 ball. I do believe, as I said in my other post, that the lid comes off and we start hitting 3s tonight. TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT MEN!!! (AND WOMEN IF YOU ARE ON THIS BOARD, AND IF YOU ARE THAT IS JUST AWESOME) TONIGHT WE COWBOY UP!!!!

Gilmore is actually a way better 3 point shooter than Sobey or Adams.

Gilmore shoots 37% from 3 still even after his last few games have been so bad.

Sobey shoots 23% i believe and Adams shoots 19% from 3.

Remember before the Fresno game Gilmore was shooting over 42% from 3 land which is very damn good. He has just been in a cold slump the last few games and the shots he made so many of earlier in the year haven't been falling lately or Wyoming would probably have a couple more wins. Gilmore's shooting slump has been magnified though over the last few games because we have lost and so everyone is remembering that more so than what his actual shooting percentage is.

Gilmore is actually a very good shooter he is just going through a mental block shooting the ball right now. He is probably thinking too much right before he shoots and needs to just let it rip and not think about it so much. Sometimes it's hard as hell to get out of a shooting slump as well because it's usually all in your head. Let's hope the lid comes off tonight for him and the others.

It's not as much a Cold Slump as the fact that the mins the guys are playing to pick up for the loss of Martinez. The players are starting to get worn out and it's pretty damn obvious.

Ok I am here to eat crow. He shot well tonight and made some really good decisions tonight. Some bad ones too, but actually thought he played really well. This one hurt tonight.

Gilmore shot well. Must have been working on getting out of slump. Any way you slice it, LW can't score 60 a night and someone has to make up for Luke's 15.

Some nights Washington is a beast. Other nights Nance pulls it out and scores some serious points. Gilmore almost always has a good night until recently. I hope he has beaten his slump as he has a hell of alot of heart.

It helped that he had some open looks, and that he didn't hold on to the ball until 5 seconds left (for the most part).

They actually ran offense last night instead of holding onto the ball until the final few ticks just to jack up the ball and hope it goes through.
