Some strange things happened at Illinois State, which lead to Ghaali being promoted to co-offensive coordinator. Great to see former Pokes doing well!

Beathard’s departure prompted head coach Brock Spack to shuffle the staff responsibilities, moving wide receivers / associate head coach Ghaali Muhammad-Lankford and tight ends / fullbacks coach CJ Irvin to co-offensive coordinator roles.

I took a class with Ghaali back when he played at UW. Solid dude, glad to see him killing it!

If you recall he went from Defense --> Running Back --> Defense.

When I asked him if he was happy to be moving back to linebacker he said he "wants to get back to hitting people".
