Seemingly one of the few Cowboys who gives a shit every down. Prayers go out to him and I hope his injury doesn't end up being as bad as it sounded. He's tough as nails, don't count him out just yet.
 
Who cares? Brett's the only reason UW football has been relevant in the last 12 months. His healthy is far more important than any football season. I just hope this was a severe concussion and not a neck injury.
 
Just got back and the refs let it get to that point. Don't believe me? There's about 25,000 others who will vouch for that. :tickedoff:
 
I am one who agrees. The refs I bet were MAC officials and there was about 4-5 late hits that were not called. The whole game was bullshit, with those officials we were already setup to lose that game. That being said I do hope smith is ok and that he gets better

I sure hope so, this kid has a future in football that goes beyond NCAA, I hope he doesn't try to rush back from anything.

I'm still waiting for details on his near future. CDC seems like one of those guys where "he's okay" means he isn't dead. We still don't know whats up with Herron.

Brett has a concussion. Don't think anyone can be out for the season due to a concussion. Out next week maybe, but that's probably it. I'm no doctor though...thinking out loud.

Concussions can be season ending. I hope this is not the case but they are a brain injury and they vary in their severity. I do know that Sidney Crosby had a concussion so severe that he had to miss most of the season in hockey. I just hope he gets it taken care of and doesn't rush things, this is just a game after all.
 
Hopefully he's okay. It looked like a vicious hit. Concussions are scary and it's best not to rush back. Hope everything is alright!

Sidney had two concussions in consecutive games which led to him missing a year. Brett will have to
Be symptom free before he returns if he doesn't want a worse second concussion.
