Gameday thread: UW vs MTST Game 1

Nope. He's done. He can't redshirt. He's played at least one minute. Maybe medical? I know he was dealing with a foot or ankle or something early in the season...
 
I hate the line up on the floor right now.

We have one scorer Adams and then JMac who can hit 3's and no one else really.
 
Dalton needs work. He didn't even move to help on one of those drives or stick with his man that tight. That double skinny lineup just doesn't work for me. Throw in Naughton with one of them.

Totally agree. We have the tools for successful lineups but we have to set it up.

I think the line up that got the lead had Adams and James both on the floor at the same time with Gorski shooting 3's. Need more line ups like that. Then the other line up comes in with only one person that can get to the basket and the lead vanishes and the defense was bad.

It is because of the line ups on the floor. Some work pretty good and others just don't work. I guess the thought is playing all of these guys will pay off down the road having multiple guys with experience but seems we could go with a certain 8 then have a couple of others come in just to give some extra minutes instead of going with everyone getting about an equal amount of time.

Yeah we have potential. I'm not that upset with our guards and they'll figure out when to drive. Our bigs look slow and lost out there. Herndon is a ghost again :orly: That isn't good at all. I'm all for more Barnes and why not play Naughton more?
 
We're getting out rebounded by MTST :o :o :o
Scaring thing is we don't have any immediate help coming in down low for the future either. Shy really needs to get us 3 bigs that can contribute in some way. Right now Dalton and Barnes look the closet thing we have to quality bigs. They also look 2 years away from being solid MWC caliber bigs to me.

Yeah we need to get him minutes. He's slow on defensive shifts and not sure what he brings offensively but he's the only one with a build that looks somewhat ready to go.

Yeah. We already have the perimeter players to compete in the MWC easily we just need a couple of decent bigs.

Lets see what happens with Marshall..I don't want to speculate too much but this doesn't look good for him. If he gets ousted then we have to go for immediate big man help.
