Lieberman still hasn't shown me this season why he deserves time on the floor. At least with other guys in "slumps", they still added something (leadership, energy, etc). I don't see any of that with Lieberman yet.

I agree. So far, he's turned over the ball, missed shots, and given up baskets. I hope he's just in a slump.

It looked like he was coming out of it Saturday in his limited time. The pull up three out of the pick-and-roll and then the driving layup on successive possessions showed a bit of confidence. I think he lost out on some time since Shyatt decided to go big a lot but he'll be fine.

Anyone that can't tell he isn't the 2nd best player on the team is either stupid or has never watched basketball before.

How in the world can you go back and say that you weren't calling anyone dumb?

I've watched & played plenty of basketball so that option is out of the picture. I'd be able to argue that James, Herndon, or maybe even JMac (because he's shooting 57% from the field as a guard and 53% from 3) might be better than Marshall. Not as athletic, but possibly more productive. I need to see more from Marshall to know for sure, and he very well could be the 2nd best player on the team.

Whether you clarified your comment or not, I'm 100% sure you called me stupid simply because I don't believe the "eye test" is all that goes into what makes someone good or not.

Well I am sorry you took it that way and I wasn't calling you stupid. So I apologize if it came across that way. That was not my intent. I should have typed it out differently. My main point was if you saw the kid play the first couple of games (when I say "you" I mean in general not specifically you) you can tell he is deserving of as many minutes as just about anyone else on this team. I agree with you the eye test isn't all that goes into making someone good or not. From what I saw of him though he is the 2nd best all around player on the team at this point with the number of things he can do offensively and athletically. Now maybe his defense isn't up to Shyatt's liking or something I have no idea. I didn't watch his defense as closely so maybe that is it.

As far as James goes I think James has more potential than Marshall as he matures. I think James has more potential than anyone on this team including Adams. As of right now though I think Marshall is the 2nd best all around player on the team behind Adams. JMac is playing well though and Herndon seems to be improving the last couple of games.

Now whether Marshall isn't playing because of his defense or because he is still injured I have no idea. but I think it is one of those two things. I don't think it is just because Shyatt doesn't think he is a good enough all around player.

Glad to see the team improving though.
