Just wanted to give my input on a few of the "improvements" to see if anyone agreed or disagreed
∙The number of Wildcatter Ticket Office windows have been increased from 4 to 8 ticket windows to better handle the demand for ticket purchases on game days;
This still felt way understaffed. I waited for at least 40 minutes and missed kickoff. I had a certificate good for 4 tickets I won at a silent auction and they acted like they had never seen one before. I get it, I should have went earlier, but I started tailgating and had to enjoy every minute.
∙Radios have been installed in War Memorial Stadium rest rooms to allow fans to continue to hear games while they are in the rest room;
This was nice
∙Televisions have been installed outside of concession stands to allow fans to watch the game while they are ordering food and drinks;
This was also nice
∙A new Brown and Gold Outlet store location has been developed on the east side of the stadium to make merchandise more accessible and help to decrease congestion near Gates 4 and 5;
$95 for a golf polo. Enough said.
∙UW Athletics has hired Party Pros Entertainment as an in-stadium DJ service to enhance the quality and selection of music at Cowboy Football games.
Ok this was a waste of money. They played early 90s rap music. I don't want to come off as an old man and say don't play rap, but the student section wasn't even born with most the stuff they played came out. Play something current to get the students going or something classic for the rest. And I don't think we need music between every down.
∙Postgame tailgating: Fans are encouraged to enjoy socializing postgame in the parking lots, however, please remember that open container privileges cease at the end of the 3rd quarter.
We did, and were not hassled. Thank you!! Of all the improvements this was my favorite.
