Game 3 Thread

waiting to see which players stroll in, right now they have to high energy plays warming up who should play good defense. If Able comes to the game it will be a good test for your guards as he is a pitbull on defense.
 
Alright just spoke to the coach of the stingers and he told me he should have his team here. Last year this team won 2 games in summer of thunder against Southern Utah 79-77, St.Louis 70 - 68 on a tip in buzzer beater.
 
Mueller with the run out dunk. Pokes up 2. Johnathan Barnes with a big stretch of good minutes.

The Cowboys have remained competitive with a long stretch of minutes by Averbuck, Kelley, and Barnes on the floor together.
 
Pretty good YouTube stream nice quality but I still feel like we look like an army without a general with the players on the floor right now.

This isn't a bad team, and we're remaining in a virtual tie game with them while we're at the end of our bench with our greenest guys.

I don't see how you could expect a general right now.
 
Gorski definitely isn't a secondary ball handler. Hopefully Adams or James can do enough to help Lieberman if a team uses the press against us. Mcmanamen is great at getting open for good looks in those situations, we NEED someone to step up that can handle the ball under pressure or when Lieberman needs a break

Cody Kelley has been doing a good job of that. He started crappy in the first game, but has played pretty consistently after that rough start in game 1.

He looks better to me than Marshall or Gorski, although Gorski is playing much better this game.

If that first half taught me anything, we've got some pretty good free throw shooters on the team. Liebs, Herndon, and Barnes we're all knocking them down.

I always want at least one person on the floor that show some resemblance of leadership right now that is what is holding the team back no one is taking charge. It's like a pick-up game Saturday afternoon at the local basketball court.

I always want at least one person on the floor that show some resemblance of leadership right now that is what is holding the team back no one is taking charge. It's like a pick-up game Saturday afternoon at the local basketball court.

That's what the coaches are doing. They're fielding line-ups bereft of the normal scorers: Adams, Mcmanamen. They got to see if someone else can get points consistently.

We're taking about two different things. Scoring doesn't always mean leading and vice versa.

Moemeka looks like our best big man. I've been very impressed with him the last few minutes. Posts up good and can jump and hustles.
