Plus their video system was a complete joke. Tried watching last year's Hawaii @ Fresno State game on-line. Holy....that was pure toture.

I really like the way this is turning out. One endzone to go is all thats left. It looks kinda goofy having the V's face the same direction, but I understand it's for TV reasons. I really like Fresno's stadium. Maybe i'd think different if I saw it in person, but it looks like a great place to play football.

Now, if CDC can get Wyoming winning consistently, maybe even a conference title or two, and who knows, maybe we could expand the War to 35,000-40,000. Because CDC is laying the foundation, and with a staff that is really coming together, I like the future. We just need the o-line to come together for the first time since 2004.

Fresno hasn't done sh!t and years and has all that already. I don't think UW needs to wait for success to happen to make that kind of progress.

Besides, conference titles simply ain't happening for Wyoming anytime soon. The current dynamics of college football have surpassed the Pokes. See this thread.

Wyoming might want to average more than 20K a game before they think about expanding. I do like the idea though. I just don't see Wyoming progressing like you do, hence the fans won't show up right away.

Credit to Fresno fans......they might not any MWC titles or anything, but they get 35K+ consistently even in bad years. 40K+ in above-average seasons.

And when we get to the point of conference titles (remember, they are increasing the budget to about $30 million over the next few years), the War should be packed full.

Just checked my Wyoming media guide.......even in the seasons Wyoming was winning multiple titles and bowl games, they never once averaged over 24K. 24K is in fact the all-time high. Just saying.......Conference titles are so far-fetched right now anyway its almost irrelevant. Wyoming needs to start figuring out how they can attract people now and not wait for wins to come. Cause they may not come at all.

To be honest fromolwyoming, I'm surprised its taken Wyoming football over 100+ years and nobody has gotten that one done. Just make sure its nothing like the Kibbie Dome. 30K-35K dome.......I'd be willing to bet that state politics would prevent it, but you'd have to think more people would show if they could guarantee themselves that they wouldn't have thaw their own nuts out after the game.

I would make a lot more games if there wasn't a bow in my hand during september. Then there is only a few games during November I might be able to make due to work conflicts.

When Fred Akers was at Wyoming, he wanted to have War Memorial to be domed. Politics prevented it. It was one of the reasons he left for Texas,

Cheyenne/Laramie prevented Casper from having a 4-year college so....Casper and the northern and central counties prevented the university from building a dome for War Memorial.
