Underdogs on the road to the worst team in the league so far (besides us). If we can get it done that will give me hope we don't finish in last place. If we get spanked then bar the doors, this may be a season for the record books, in a bad way.

This season is a shocker, even without Ike. I am not sure that this team can rival the Edwards shitshow of 2018-19 and 2019-20 with 8 and 9 total wins respectively. Surely we have 5 more wins somewhere, right?

Assuming Ike is done for the year, I could see us winning fewer than 9 games. This team can't rebound and can't put the ball through the hole.

This season has all the makings of a single digit win finish. Not great defensively, straight up bad shooting, and generally low toughness all around. The worst part is....it was so not supposed to be this way. I was surprised when we failed to crack 10 wins for two straight years before showing Edwards the door...but I wasn't thinking conference championship or NCAA bid before those seasons began.

This wasn't at all what I expected...when I heard Ike was hurt I was like, "well, 18 or so wins and get Ike back for a tourney run"...now I suppose that is still in play but seems incredibly unlikely.
 
Time to bench Maldaonado. The offense just stands around when he's trying to back in. He's a terrible passer and now he's become a terrible shooter. He doesn't even draw a double team anymore.
May as well give minutes to guys at the end of the bench. Wenzel, Oden, Thompson just going through the motions. I can watch bad basketball but I won't watch lazy, I don't give a shit basketball.
 
Absolutely unbelievable Maldo still
throws some of the passes he tries….. They didn’t work in 2nd grade - ain’t gonna work now.
