Fresno State thoughts

Adv8RU12 said:
Fresno definitely has to tools to take the Pokes. Not being negative, but realistic, I think they will. But it will be a wake-up call for the Pokes (Like the Pokes win did to CSU), who may look like they only hit the snooze button after SDSU. Then the real Pokes will emerge - a team concentrating (i.e., no foolish turnovers, defensive attention) and focused (like CSU has done)
Why couldn't SDSU be the wake-up call for the Pokes?

Because he is super negative about everything.

Not because I'm super-negative about everything, but because that is just the way the psychology of these things work. The Pokes most likely think that this was just a fluke - a few TO's, a few blown ref calls, and a very lucky SDSU. Won't happen again to us. Just a fluke.

I highly doubt that. That is what you think, and you have shown time and time again lately to be wrong with your assessments of the team. After Larry got kinda hurt in CSU you figured there was no way the doctor was telling the truth about Larry not being hurt, and how he shouldn't play very much the next game, only to see Larry completely dominate and go for 18 points and 10 boards.

You see this team with the mindset of a team who is trying to be shady and more cocky than what they really are.
You don't think they are going to accept responsibility for actually losing- you think the team is going to write it off as a fluke. Come on dude.

The team knows they lost. They know it wasn't a fluke. They know their bench had 0 points. They know that they didn't do what they needed to do to win. You don't think they do, but they do.

WOW! I did not say that at all. Are you an Obama Democrat or something?

Yeah you did.

Here is what I said:

"i'm not totally buying it. Something happened, maybe not much, but something".

NO WAY?? Observe closely the term "not totally". Notice the term "maybe not much". Both Larrys said "something" happened -- a twinge, or some feeling in the knee. Something that made them scared. The announcers made comments about it. Please read the posts more carefully. And heed the wisdom of Francis Bacon: "Read not to confute or contradict, but to weight and consider"

Whenever a player or coach says everything is fine, you say it is not. 100% of the time.

This.

Whatever the 'word' is, you dispute it as if you have better insight than who ever said.

That probably annoys me more than the daily posts about how Wyoming is gonna lose. Denying what players, coaches, and doctors say about the health of our players is the lowest form of miserable cynicism.
