We have made 3 field goals in the 2nd half. Josh has all 3 doesn't he? So no one has scored in the 2nd half but Josh? That won't get it done on the road.

Yup and he is completely warn out and you can tell it by his shooting he is short on basically everything. This is on the team Adams carried everyone as much as he possibly could and if no one else steps up this is how games are going to go.
It would be really nice if JMac or Herndon or TW3 would contribute anything....

I just looked it up. Jmac hit one 3 in the 2nd half. Justin James hit one free throw in the 2nd half.

Everything else has been all Josh. Josh has 2 made field goals and 6 free throws.

Adams with another 30 point night. If we just had one fucking consistent player behind Adams we would have won a lot of these games we lost.

Personally, I don't think any of the teams that have beat us are better than us other than SDSU. Young team problems. Also not having an off date yet has been huge. As of today, we have played 3 more conference games than CSU.

Fresno St's entire starting 5 scored in double figures, granted that was virtually all their points. Take away Josh, and the rest of our team contributed an entire 28 points; absolute lid on the basket in the 2nd half.

I think a lot of the losses have been because of the little mistakes that young teams make as well as running Adams into the ground by the 5 minute mark in the second half. With that said, UW is going to be a threat in the tournament to everyone except SDSU.

What a disappointing game. It hurts every time we waste one of these monster efforts by Adams. I don't know what it is, but everyone plays tentative when Josh is out there.

Really wish they would have put Naughton in there to contend with their monsters. And JJ is on such a short leash he's playing super tight. I'm really not a fan of how Shyatt doles out minutes.

I think part of it is Josh tries to do too much. And that might take others out of the game. Instead of jacking up shots, we needed to run the offense and try to get easier scores.

Josh is the senior leader and IMO is the best player in the league....but the Pokes need to work on getting a better distribution of scoring.

Definitely need more contributions from somebody not named Adams....This team struggles to make "winning plays". We have played two games in a row now where in the free-flowing minutes of the first half and early second half players are in rhythm and comfortably hitting shots and moving. As the game winds down and the value of possessions and points gets higher and higher not many of the guys in brown and gold look comfortable with the ball outside of Adams and our opponents know this.

AND we've blown double digit leads in the last 3 games. Can't do that. I will never understand why Shyatt will find a rotation that scores and plays D and he immediately breaks it up to put TW3 or Lieberman back on the floor (and sometimes both). Look I appreciate the efforts by both guys but the empty minutes from them are KILLING us. They are both turnover machines and play marginal defense at best. This is not a knock on them but it is what it is.

The best SCORERS should be on the floor at all times. Were not a lock down defense this season and it feels at times like Shyatt feels more comfortable with 5 men out there who may play decent defense rather than 5 players who can score. Its frustrating. JJ can score. His defense keeps him out of the game. Naughton can score, his defense seems to keep him off the floor. Marshall can score, his defense prevents him from playing. All these guys can score but suffer on defense so they ride pine, but we still are not a great defensive team. What good does it do to keep a team to 50 points if we CANNOT score 51?
