Fresno St vs Wyoming

Fresno in town this afternoon and the Pokes actually have a shot. FSU has only won 5 games this year, matching Wyoming's futility on the court. It's a battle of the worst two teams in the MWC. Game starts at 4:00PM. Go Pokes

I can't remember a time when a 5-12 team came into Laramie as a 5 1/2 point favorite. That's how bad this program has sunk.

Wyoming down by 15 at the end of the first half (Wyo has only scored 16 points in the half). Shooting 27% from the field, no free throws, only 13 rebounds even with all of the missed shots. They are making FSU look like a Final Four team. If I were AD for a day, I would walk into that locker room and fire Edwards on the spot.

I watched 3 minutes of this game. We bricked 3s and I watched two of our guys run into each other on a rebound that Fresno subsequently scored on.

I was around when Moe's team in 1973-1974 (4-22) literally was one of the worst in college basketball, and this club is just as bad.

I'm tired of getting out rebounded every game.. for the last eight years

Is it the coaching or the players? Clearly, it must be both. How does Hunter Thompson play 25 minutes and have 0 rebounds? He shot 1-7 from the field. I would think he would rebound at least 1 of his own misses. Either, his instincts are awful or he's told not to go the glass after a shot goes up.

His 6 inch vertical leap doesn't help much

Rebounding has almost nothing to do with jumping ability. It's positioning and anticipating how the ball bounces off the rim. Brad Jones was barely 6 feet tall and would often get 7 or 8 rebounds a game.
