Fresno St is still alive in the CBI

they beat the mighty UTEP Miners and next up play the mighty Princeton Tigers and they get to host. show em whos boss in the CBI and represent well for the MWC!!! GO DAWGS
 
i know nobodys interested but they're still chugging along after beating Princeton last night!!! They'll be ok next year as well. I'd like to see them go to the finals just for MWC status.

Not are they only in the finals, but I would expect them to be heavy favorites. Barring a meltdown, it looks like Fresno State is going to be CBI champs. What that eactly means, I'm not sure.

One thing is for sure...Fresno State has some good young players and have positioned themselves to be a pesky team, at a minimum, for the next few years.
 
they've always given us fits, and yes they'll be a factor during conference season for many years to come, esp if they come in with confidence in winning a Post Season tourney
 
Fresno is on right now, down 4 with 11 minutes left in the first half.
Fresno started the season at 8-13, and since then, starting with a win over us, they have gone 13-4. Their 4 losses? Wyoming, New Mexico, San Diego State, and Siena.

Whether they win this game or not today, I think they will be very dangerous next season. Good defense, figuring out how to win, and some underrated players.
