Fresno prediction

went there in 2012, had a good visit, but they are the only game in town and this crowd really rallies around their Bulldogs, I'm glad Carr graduated amongst some other players, but with our injuries I don't see us pulling this out, sorry, but I do think it'll be closer than 2012, hallejullah.

If Kirky can get the protection he had at CSU and the OC goes with a pass oriented scheme, I think some points can be put on the board. Now make the assumption that the new FSU QB's experience will be a factor and that the Pokes can put some heat on him and that he is not a good scrambler. Put all this together and you come up with Pokes 28, FSU 24.
 
Call me stupid....injuries are at a high for Wyoming, but if there is an "upset" available on the schedule, it is this game now that Fresno is giving that freshman his first start. Not expecting a win, but you never know.

No, 2011. We won at SDSU 2 times in a row, while SDSU beat us here. Got out to a huge lead in the 1st half, DC refused to make adjustments, and SDSU came within 3 of us by the end of the game.
 
The paper says the game is at 8:45 MST. Is this a recent change? Seems to me I had been reading that the game was at 5:45 MST. The later time, I think, does not bode well for the Pokes. Translation: not a win.

That time is right - thanks to ESPN. 7:45 kick off pacific.
 
The line is all the way to 15. That's a huge move from 10.5. Even with my dark forecast for the remaining games, I'm very tempted to take the 15. This is a team that barely beat New Mexico.

....and is now shaking things up with a freshman QB. That is often not a good thing unless the kid was a star recruit (4-star/5-star) and even then sometimes it doesn't work.

Maybe they're super-pessimistic about the offense. That I could see. Fresno covers, because they win 24-6. Fresno's defense has some talented athletes, as Brett and co. learned last season.

Fresno lost to Unlv 2 weeks ago and gave up more than 50 pts in each of it's first 4 games. We better get more than 6. If you're right, we might as well run the triple option with the running qb the rest of the year.
 
With injuries, lack of offense, struggles on defense and the game being away... I don't see any way we win this game. I'm sorry, but I haven't seen enough good to outweigh the bad.

Being a Wyoming fan sucks sometimes. And by sometimes I mean most years.

That said, I won't miss a minute of it. Come on Pokes, prove me wrong.
