The Wyoming Cowgirls gained their first MW tournament win since 2007 with a 61-44 win over TCU Wednesday in Las Vegas.

The Cowgirls had eight days off from their last game -- at TCU -- and seemed to be rejuvinated.

never really been a big womens basketball fan, but during tourney's always check out what's happening, and really happy that they got a big win against a pesky TCU team, confidence must be high and lets beat the Asstecs!! Happy for Coach Joe!!! Keep it up

Actually, the Cowgirls won two years ago beating UNLV, before losing to SDSU. Last night's win, though, was just their fourth in tournament history.
