In another thread I pumped the brakes on Fresno. I'm doing the same with Air Force. Yeah, all conference games are tough, and I think both are quality opponents, but neither have played tough enough competition or performed well enough against that competition for us to be scared.

Air Force is 5-0 against opponents with a combined record of 7-18. They've played a below-average FCS team, had to score 10 in the 4th quarter to beat a terrible C-USA team, and beat the 3 worst teams in the MW. Nobody on their schedule has been as tough as App State, let alone TTU or Texas.

Playing at the Academy isn't a big deal for us. It's almost like a home game. The last two games down there we had a louder crowd than they did.

Again, not saying it'll be an easy game. I'm just saying we should give the Pokes some credit. We've played a WAY tougher schedule. We'll be ready.
