Proving that a team can play defense and also score points quickly and often the former OC's under Bohl who were not allowed to play offense have demonstrated that they themselves are not opposed to playing offense and scoring points.
NDST in 2024 has an average of 418 on offense and 316 on defense
MTST in 2024 has an average of 484 on offense and 305 on defense
Compare that to the average of Bohl from 2017-2023 when he was finally rid of players recruited by Christensen:
336 offense
350 defense
Think of the number of games that were lost trying to play keep it out of the end zone where one team succeeded frequently. To think so many Wyoming fans were brutally opposed to the OC's when they were mainly being compliant with the wishes of the head coach.
Just couldn't help but to find irritation that this program wallowed in a slightly above average mode which is a nice way of saying it was mediocre when only a few more pieces were needed along with a willingness to play some offense.
