...stopped by my work the other day. Did some business then talked sports. He and his wife will be in Laramie this weekend for the Nebraska game. Really nice guy.

Just got me thinking about watching the teams he was on, and how much fun I had going to those games while I was a student. Mac drove me insane half the time, but we won some big ones. Then came Heath, I was away from campus, and though I still watched/listened to every game I could, my enthusiasm dwindled. Which leads me to...

I can not wait for the hoops season. I've not followed Pokes bball like this in years. I love that Shyatt is back, I am very impressed with the recruiting, and I am overjoyed with what he has planned to get the student body and all the rest of us fans back into Pokes bball. I know I'll be making a few road trips this year to help resurect the Dome of Doom.

Even though Ries wasn't the most talented poke on the floor, I sure liked him. Heck, I think I liked all those SOB's. Rottinghouse, Bradley Mann, Ledarion Jones. There wasn't one that was a dillhole. I've listened to the pokes the last few years, but I can't remember really being excited as I am now. Well, when Mac almost got us to the NCAA by winning the MW tourney sure was exciting.
