Football Players in a Dunk Contest.

The rumor is that halftime of the WYO/CSU game Wed will feature a dunk contest performed by 5 or 6 WYO football Players. Should be entertaining! LOL

I heard Brett Smith can throw it down.

But who would be doing it.... Trent Sewell and Nico Brown could probably throw it down.

Oh god...nothing would be worse than watching us get blown out by csu then brett smith landing on his arm and snapping it in half in front of everyone in the the AA, especially with all the csu sheep fans that will be there....

I don't think Brett is participating. It is mostly receivers.........My money is on the Wyoming redshirt! Christensen is judging it I think.

Looks like there has been a bunch of interest in this comp. Ha Ha! I have to change my favorite though.....my sources tell me that Jason Thompson has been practicing some crazy dunks. I don't want too ruin it for ya but I think it might be worth a watch! He is incredibly athletic! Don't worry fellas last I checked Brett still wasn't part of it! LOL
 
Well did you see that Tanner Simpson, a walk on WR from Lander, Wyo. won the dunk contest? He and Dee White had to have a dunk off but the local boy won. #Wyofootballwindmill video will emerge soon I am sure!

Thompson got screwed. It is a shame Marqueston Huff had night class he would've been fun to watch. As for the other white receiver, how is he a D1 football player?! He couldn't even dribble a basketball

The "other white receiver" is a new walk on. He ran track for two years at Oregon State. He is a gifted athlete in terms of his measurables however he is really uncoordinated! Simpson on the other hand is going to make some noise on the football field. Mark my words that young man will play. His only obstacle is that he is not a scholarship-ed player so the politics may get in the way. But I think he is going to be so good that they can't ignore him. HE reminds me of the Mcguffey kid from Riverton several years back!

I think they made the right call with Tanner Simpson, his dunk was dope.

I know....Hard to believe but he ran like a 14.2 110 high Hurdle race! He was a decathalete if you can believe that! Simps can play....he was arguably the best basketball player in the state last year. In head to head with McManamen he outscored him and they guarded each other! Lander beat Torrington at the Douglas Classic Simpson had 19 and Mac had 17 I think!
 
Simpson has a lot of competition ahead of him. The redshirts are good, Nico Brown, Trent Sewell, and Maulhardt are incredible receivers. Not to mention the long list of upper classmen. Good luck to him though, I ain't easy being a walk on.
