The message board on both fan sites point to the same place, DCPoke has found his way over there already, feel free to join him.

Last game they had 33 rushing attempts and 51 passing for a total of 498 yards of offense (yikes!)
Their sophomore runningback had 122 yards on 23 carries (5.3 per carry)
Their QB was 30/50 for 347 yards and one TD (no interceptions)
They went for it on 4th down 4 times and were successful on 3 of those attempts - the one time they didn't led to a field goal right before half time.

To me it sounds like the turnover battle will be the key to this game.

If I were a thinking man, I would think that all those FAU offensive stats mean a heap of trouble - especially for a cold-weather team on a hot day.

NCowl hows ur passing game or do u guys like to run?

He summed it up with the stats. We are known and always have been known as a pass first team. Last year we were able to run the ball more. But this year we have a breakout sophomore and is now the leading rusher in the SBC. Our offense is full of senior veterans, our QB had a stellar 07 year, with a bit of a fall last year, but a decent rally the 2nd half of the season. The OL has been able to protect or QB, and that is against the likes of OU & South Carolina, so he has the time to throw. We have a very talented receiving core including some excellent TE's x3. I don't think or offense has clicked as much as it needs to. Some turnovers and key penalties have been the downfall.

Defense is young, but the talent is there, they just need to click as well, though they did have a pretty good second half against ULM. When we are on... we can win... we just haven't found it yet this year.

Our #1 TE Jason Harmon is known for the Harmon Hop, where he leaps over players trying to tackle him.

one thing the pokes dont have to worry about is the lack of a crowd presence, since fau plays in basically a high school stadium.

;)

Those Harmon Hops reminds me of Jovon Bouknight that used to be Wyoming's standout receiver. He'd do stuff like that a lot. One of the most talented guys to come through Wyoming, but unfortunately for him, he was also quite lazy in the gym. This hurt him in the NFL draft, and also later when he tried competing for a spot on the rosters. He's in grad school now, though, if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah, we are working on the on-campus stadium. Should be ready by 2011... GODSPEED!

Plus we are only in our 9th year of playing football, so very young and still working on the fan base.
