You're right, the only difference between the UNLV game and the Nevada game was we didn't give Nevada the ball twice on a short field and were able to keep the lead by scoring. Turnovers are key for our team and have been all year. I definitely see a drop in INTs mainly because I don't see the same pressure we've had when granderson was playing

That is a big reason why there is a drop, but we have also dropped some ints and coverage hasn't been as good.

I am concerned with the tackling or mental errors. I have watched the 76 yard run by the QB over and over. I cannot figure out what in the world Wingard is doing. He literally ran away from the QB

We had a couple of those where either Wingard, Wacha or May were completely lost looking around trying to find the ball. I hope they can get that figured out this week. The zone read really hurt us last week. I don't think SDSU runs much zone read qb keepers though.

Hopefully they won't decide to start after seeing how poorly we defended it.
tbh, i could totally see this happening

but we appear to be on the rise so who knows.....maybe i'm just a little pessimistic

On the other hand, if your QB is not a runner (Chapman only runs when he has to), you're definitely risking injury where you can least afford it. Chapman is a solid QB, and losing him would be bad for San Diego State. Then again, Agnew is talented and is the type of QB that would burn our team badly (very good runner with decent throwing ability), so hopefully Chapman won't go down.
