First real confirmation

Was about to post this as well. One thing to note, is Pinkel says Christensen will finish the season at Mizzou. Still a very good hire IMO.

This is my take. He does have those responsibilities, and I admire him for keeping his word and showing his commitment. Very rare. I hope he keeps that same commitment with wyoming. And, he will be recruiting after next weeks game. THAT WILL BE HUGE FOR RECRUITING! And, he will get extra press and comments about it from the announcers at the big 12 game. Long run, it will be huge for him. And, he will be able to do some recruiting this week via the telephone, etc. for players for wyoming.
 
I actually like the fact that he is staying with the team throughout the rest of the season. Shows he has some loyalty and cares about the players and other people associated with the program he made a commitment to them for the entire season. If he abandonded his team now and got started here it will prob be better for him and us this year(not sure how much of a difference it would make) but hopefully he will show us the same type of commitment and loyalty. The guy seems to be a class act.
 
Thats a good point One-Smooth Poke. Him staying through the bowl game could benefit us with some TV exposure. His move to UW will certainly be talked about leading up to and during whatever game they are in. Now, lets just all hope that Missouri looks sharp in that bowl!!

I hope they look sharp in the Big 12 Championship Game. That will be where we get the most press from. And, it will give the Wyoming fans a little "taste" of what to expect when he come to his new home....yeeeehawww!
