Fields moved from d tackle to o line

I know he didn't light the world on fire at the d tackle position but aren't we super thin on the d tackle position

Him and Youhanna played 100% of the snaps at the 2 interior positions the last few games of the year, and we also kicked off a promising D tackle prospect. I'm really concerned with the depth there... hopefully the new D coordinator is smart enough to hide this lack of depth on Saturdays...

I agree. Seems like depth on the OL is better than depth on the DL. They must feel pretty good about some up and comers if they moved Fields to the OL.

note: It's good to see so many team-first guys willingly change positions for the good of the team.

I am curious what ever happened to last years JUCO - Hunter Van Emmerik? When recruited, he was 6'4" 281 - slotted for D Tackle and redshirted last season. Not a peep on him.
