Fathead.Com ignores Wyoming

I went to the Fathead.com site this morning to see if they had a Wyoming logo I could paste on my man-cave wall. Guess what! They've got Albany State Golden Rams, but not Wyoming! In fact they've got all the MWC teams but Wyoming. Totally unacceptable!

Here's the email address to Fathead. I request all Wyoming fans besiege them to request they add Wyoming imagages to their inventory!

I saw that too when I was on their web page a few weeks ago. Perhaps it's not fathead to blame? Maybe the University won't give them permission to use out logo?

prob the state won't give them permission

there are a lot of products we can't get with the BH&R because the folks in cheyenne won't let it happen

I don't believe that is the problem. Fathead has agreement with the college licensing firm of which UW is a part of. Any sale of a UW logo or image would result in a royalty payment to UW. I believe they don't think there's enough of us to justify printing up and selling UW logos and images.

fathead would have to pay 7.5% royalty to the state of wyo...i'm guessing they don't feel they would sell enough product to offset this and make decent profit

but, hey, if enough of us email demanding it...they might change their mind

I believe the university offers a special case when use of the BH&R is concerned. UW can represent itself and has an agreement with The Collegiate Licensing Company, so anything that Fathead would do with Wyoming image property would be through the CLC. I'm not sure what the royalties are, but it's probably easier than going to the State of Wyoming directly.

I have been complaining to fathead for years about this! I would think they would be able to sell Steamboat much better than many schools logo's they offer. It boggles my mind how certain business's operate.

Aaron,

You are about the 20th e-mail we have received today in regards to this image. I have mentioned this to our licensing department and they said we will definitely get working on that. I don't no when it will be available but, it will be soon. Have a great day!
