Fairweather fans

As down as I am right now, I'll still be there on Saturday. I expected us to be 1-2, but I figured the "2" side of that would've been a bit closer and the 1 to be quite a few more points for the good guys. I knew going in that we'd have gaps on offense, but didn't think it'd be quite this bad.

That being said we need to finish September going 3-2 to have any realistic shot at a bowl game. Who knows, maybe a win against Hawaii in crap weather is what helps this team to gel?

I've been going to games for 30 years and would be going to this one if it started at a rationale time. I planned other outdoor activities before and after the game in Snowy Range and they crumbled with the wet weather, so staying home for this one. After the NIU game last year and a risk of lightning in this game, I'm not interested in dozing and driving across Shirley Basin at 4 in the morning. If Bohl wants more butts in the stands, then dump these 8 PM starts.

Been watching for 30+ years and still thinks the head coach from the home team is in charge of scheduling the game times.

Yikes.

I wouldn't blame anyone.

If you need money and national-TV exposure for your program, then you're going to be playing at night sometimes. Even Notre Dame does it...like tonight. Don't get in a snit about it.

If you need money, yes. But who besides a few of us (and Hawaii) are going to be watching? The Mountain Time Zone only accounts for 6% of the population, and the game starts at 10:15 in the Eastern Zone - on a Saturday night nobody there gives a rodents backside.

Why'd you leave out Pacific time zone? Where are most of our recruits from? East coast...or western USA?

I think you'd be surprised. Most people don't just watch their favorite team and then shut the TV off. It's an all-day affair. Sure there's a battle with the main ESPN and ABC games, but there's still people who watch. A lot of people will turn to the ESPN2 game after the other games are over.

Speaking of this game -- The preceding game on ESPN just started the 4th quarter -- so either we will miss a lot of our start or they will delay the game. Thanks ESPN and all the other networks for scheduling so tightly that the game times inevitably overlap. Also the rain/thunder delayed the AFA game a long time and now there can't be more that a hundred fans in the stadium.

1. Kickoff is 8:26 local
2. Log onto the ESPN app, will be able to watch it from the start (unlike CBS Sports Network)

 well, monkey boy, I have you on ignore and haven't responded to your nonsense for a few years.

Happened to see this when not logged in.

Let's just say we have a different view on "dividends".
