Actually Fairchild was fired a couple weeks ago. They just didnt make the announcement. When the old AD was fired, he actually thought he was going in to announce a move in the football program. When the new AD came on, Fairchild thought he was going to get to reevaluate his job performance.

Also, in the wind I hear that with the new AD, then Sonny may be coming back. Personally, I doubt Sonny wants to come back, but he was on the news saying he didnt think he was done coaching.
 
I don't know if I'm allowed to say this, but I would actually like to see Sonny Lubick come back....brings even more hate to CSU for me haha. Also, I WANT the Rams to worth a crap...because it means that much more when we bring the boot back to Laramie every year.
 
It was just announced csewe hired a search firm to locate their next coach. So they fire their AD and then hire a search firm....I don't think we have a thing to worry about.
 
That would be an lol move, IMO. Erickson's reputation is definitely not of someone who stays in one place for long.. CSU needs some TLC, Erickson will get them immediate results, then bail.

Terrible choice IMO. Just like Mr. T says... he has no loyalty to anyone but himself. If CSU could swallow their pride i think Gary Barnett would be a good hire. Barnett was #1 on my list when we were looking for a coach.
