LOL! CSewe is a hell hole. Fuck CSewe, and everything about it. I am glad you both like Fort Collins, you should like where you live, or make a change - and not live there.

Maybe it is just me, but I feel dirty when in Fort Collins, like I am contributing to everything that is anti-Wyoming.

I'll take my paycheck from the company I work for and spend it in Wyoming as I should. I see it as taking money that would have gone to the economy down in Fort Collins and boosting the Wyoming economy :thumb:

If I ever got the chance to live in Fort Collins, I would strongly consider it. My love of craft beers outweighs my distaste for living in vicinity of csu.

If living was about craft beer, Portland and San Diego would be my 2 choices.

And New Belgium can suck a dick with their nasty "Aggie" csewe beer.

Certainly can't argue with that. As my odds of moving to the Pacific Northwest are minimal (turned down a job in Washington state last fall), Fort Collins is the next closest. Plenty of craft beer in Denver too, but FC has less traffic and big city problems than Denver.

While New Belgium is obviously the big kid on the block, there are plenty of other brewers I enjoy in FC. O'Dell, Equinox and Coopersmith are all pretty good. My dark horse for favorite in town is actually Snowbank brewery, they've got some good stuff.

You're also less than an hour from Oskar Blues and Left Hand, another of my favorites.

Psssh... I will take Blacktooth, Luminous and Mishap over that group.

In my opinion Melvin, snake river, and Black tooth are just as good as any place in Colorado. For small scale I will take the library in Laramie. The food is average and Mitch is a grumpy old man but he has consistently been brewing high quality beer for years.

Odell is top of the hear for me. They make a couple of my favorite beers. (Drumroll, Rupture and IPA...see a pattern). I like Black tooth, their brown is amazing but don't really care for their hoppy beers(at least that distributes). Melvin makes amazing hoppy beers and I really like them but something about them as a brewery puts me off and they seem to be trying to get out of WY as fast as possible.

Agreed about the Library, great beers. Food is bar food but they always have something interesting on Tap. Mitch is awesome. and old curmudgeon but a great guy.

Can't really comment on Luminous and Mishap as I'm not familiar with them. Blacktooth (what I've tried at least) is quite tasty.

Love Melvin! Some great IPAs, and Hey Zeus (Mexican Lager) is probably my favorite beer name/label combo of any beer I've tried (firmly in 2nd is Polygamy Porter).

Of course they are trying to get out of Wyoming. They are a business, you aren't gonna make much money if you limit your distribution base to less than 400,000 people. I would hope that they expand as far as they can, while keeping their roots in the 307.

I like Snake River too, haven't had any of Melvins yet. I have also heard good things about coal creek in Laramie. I was just limiting to the Sheridan-Buffalo area. Wyoming is an underrated states when it comes to craft brews.
