These guys must have been watching our game. I know Fran Fraschilla was as Coach Shyatt said he had Fran come and talk to the team yesterday.

Maybe we are finally starting to get some national recognition. We should be ranked for sure next Monday with as many teams that have lost over the last 3 or 4 days.

I wouldn't count on the Pokes getting ranked next week. They need to garner a lot more votes than they are getting right now. The teams that have lost probably won't drop too far either. Pittsburgh and Okahoma State, probably New Mexico and maybe Michigan State will drop out of the Top 25 but all of them may still receive more votes than the Pokes. UNLV and North Carolina are both ahead of Wyoming in the AP
 
Get to 16-0 (wins over BSU, FSU, UNR), and it will be very hard for the pollsters to ignore Wyo.

I'm thinking that's about what it will take for Wyoming to get ranked. I would love to be wrong and see the Pokes in the Top 25 next week, but I'm very skeptical, because of the lack of votes they've earned thus far. they really aren't picking up many votes additional votes from week to week.

If Wyoming beats Boise and Nevada next week they will be in for sure. The Nevada game will be about like the SMU game was tonight if Luke isn't playing but we should be more acclimated by then. I say at worst we are 26th or 27th with an outside shot at the top 25 this next week though.

The reason they haven't been picking up many additional votes is because we haven't been playing much at all. We had a 10 day break and then another 11 day break. 2 games in 21 days won't move you up at all.

Not 4 but 3 and yes they do have names, Kentucky right now is the only 4 loss team getting votes and they are behind the Pokes in the AP but ahead of them in the Coaches. Right now Michigan State has 3 as does Carolina and both are ahead of the Pokes in the AP and VCU has 3 as well and they are ahead of the Pokes in the Coaches.
 
we'll get ours patience young grasshopper, besides do we really want that, I'd rather stay under the radar, until we make noise in the MWC!!!
