I caught the end of ESPN radio show that said that ESPN College Gameday might be coming to Laramie for the BSU game! I might have misheard but...

It'll probably depend on Boise beating VaTech in their opener and then how well Wyoming plays in Austin the week before.
But that would be awesome if that were in fact going to happen.

A good listen

I would think the only way that happens is if Boise beats VaTech, and Wyo beats Texas. If either lose I doubt it happens. However, if both win it would probably be one of if not the most intriguing game of the weekend because both teams will have shown they are strong.

And I'm not too sure how to guage Texas. They not only lost McCoy, but Shipley too. And from what I remember, Shipley was about the only one actually helping out that Freshman (now Sophomore) QB in the BCS NC. And I remember their HC saying that they were going to be a run-oriented offense now. So I guess they don't have too much faith in the kids arm. So I guess we will have to see about that.

Agreed I think the losses of McCoy and Shipley as well as some lineman will hurt them this year. I also think Gilbert is a far less moble qb then McCoy was. It's really too bad we don't get them in Laramie this year. I think this year would have been the perfect year for a home game upset against them. Even so, if we do manage to win on the road against them, regardless of how they do the rest of the year, it will be looked at as a good win in the eyes of the media just because their name is Texas.

Just wait........
Texas has changed to a more pro style from what I'm hearing.
That QB, Gilbert, is a stud who is the son of a stud.
Should listen to rivals radio and hear the interviews with orangebloods.
Maybe you can tune in to their radio show down there on espn in Austin with Chip Brown (a Pony grad) and Jeff or Geoff?? Ketchum. I don't remember the station # so just look it up.
