ESPN Laying off workers

I really like Colin Cowherd. That and SVP and Russillo were my favorites. Russillo and Kanell is pretty good as well.

If I could hit Danny Kanell as hard as I could, I would. I think he's very disgeniune and fairly annoying in any commentary. Might be just me though.

I agree.

I listen to Sports Radio during my morning, lunch and evening drives. Cowherd (while you may disagree with his stance) is entertaining and backs up his opinion with facts. The new Dan Lebotard show (or however it is spelled) is so awful that I cant even listen to it.

The only sports radio I listen/watch is the Dan Patrick show. Its good stuff. Enjoy the banter between the Danettes. It seems like a group of friends hanging out talking sports(and other topics). Try not to watch espn unless it is a live game. The only thing that still holds me is college gameday and I ussually only watch a little of it.
Sucks for the employees getting laid off. Wonder how big of a sign it is for how bad things are for espn or was it more just to make the Disney ledger books look better to investors.

Jemele Hill is the female version of him lol I think Bomani actually has some funny moments at times. Jason Whitlock on the other hand...

ehhh I really don't like Mike and Mike haha. Really besides live sports and some college gameday, and checking the webste for scores or game times, the only ESPN I listen to or watch is Jalen and Jacoby on Grantland. Actually, the majority of Grantland is great

Remarkable. ESPN and Simmons split, a bunch of Grantland editors follow, and ESPN can't continue one of the best sites on the internet.

It's not surprising, as a site like that can't be masterminded by a corporation -- it depends on individual talent and vision. It's also heartening, in a strange way, to see a mega-outfit being reminded that people are not fungible.
