Its pretty hard to vote against Urlacher. He deserves it. I remember when UNM used to put him in at TE in goal line situations and it seemed like every time he would score a TD.

Franchione doesn't deserve it although. He is just getting voted based upon current name recognition.

You are right about Urlacher. And Franchione...well...he shouldn't even be listed.

I officially call the AK/NM/WY show a big disappointment and lame. They did a better job of covering ND and SD (and there aren't even any FBS teams in those states).

-Most of the time was spent talking to ESPN's own Mark Schlereth about his time playing football in AK.
-They called Wyoming's 2004 win over UCLA the biggest in school history (clearly untrue).
-NMSU was only mentioned as playing UNM every year (so they may have the biggest gripe).
-They did show Urlacher's TD catch against WY, what an athlete.
-The best part was at the beginning of the show as they had a clip of Wallwork throwing a TD pass to Harris with the 1240AM voices.

I met both of them. Met George Kay in Casper in 1989 thru a mutual friend of ours. Met Dave Walsh in Laramie during my soring break in 1996.
