So there really is only one final GREAT scenario that could lie before us Pokes fans. It'd have to play out like this and seeding is up in the air right now which is interesting with much at stake. The first game seems winnable no matter who it is but I'd expect a dogfight. After that things get interesting. I'm hoping we can draw Boise St 2nd. I think we matchup well with them and can take them out. This mono thing might be our undoing with 3 games in 3 days, I'm really having a tough time seeing us do this but......We make the championship game. WE WIN against I don't know who. WE GET IN THE DANCE :banana: :banana: :banana: :dance: :dance: :dance: :king: :tiptoe: :tiptoe: :party: :rockon:

Thus changing the future and stopping none other then those horrible CSU Rams from entering the dance. Stealing our rivals spot for one final big FUCK YOU CSU this year!!!!

I have us playing and beating Fresno in the 3-6, then beating SDS against the 2 seed. CSU beats BSU and WYO and CSU stand off in the champ! WYO wins!!!
WYO 26-8/ NCAA tourney
SDSU 25-8/ NCAA
Boise 25-8/ NCAA
CSU 27-7/ NCAA
USU. 19-12/ NIT
And the "one or two" bid league beats the prognosticators yet again!!!

CSU needs to beat USU on Stew Morrill's final game in Logan, then beat them in the first round of the MWC-T to play Boise in the Semi's. They need to win out until we beat them if they want to make an at-large. It's possible but very hard.

I too, would love seeing the MWC send 4 to the Big Dance. And see Utah State win the NIT.
 
I don't know if I want to be in the 4-5 game or the 3-6 game. I'm guessing we will have to beat 2 of SDSU, CSU, and BSU. Assuming we would win the first game vs USU or Fresno and assuming no first round upsets, the 5 seed gives us Boise then the winner of SDSU vs CSU. I think SDSU beats CSU. the 3 seed gives us SDSU then the winner of BSU and CSU. If we could get past SDSU I like our chances vs either of those two. So while I like our chances of making the finals from the 5 seed. I think we have a better shot at beating SDSU in the Semi's than the finals(3 games in 3 days will affect us more IMO). But there is always a chance CSU knocks off SDSU so we could win from the 5 seed without having to play SDSU.

I guess I think our chances are better from the 5 seed but it is going to be very hard no matter what and I would love to be able to get back into the 3 seed after everyone had written us off.
 
i think if we stay 4-5 that's ok, we match up well against USU a bit better than Fresno St at 6, if were a 3, it our choice face Cezar or Jalen and Caveman Collette. we'll see but i think we get our 1st win at the Pit since 2003 tomorrow, kinda happy I'm making the trek down for that this weekend, always wanted to and hell of a way for me to see Larry and the seniors out right!!! GO POKES beat the Bozos

agreed, how we handled them/him at their place where we never won b4 in 9 tries was special, even though it took 3 ot's to do, man that was a fun game tho, wish we woulda had Larry for the rematch last week just to see how good/bad those Bulldogs are/were
 
Whoever wins the tourney in Vegas will have to earn it - there is no easy road. I don't care who we play, if we play like we did Wednesday night we have a very good chance to win it.
 
Man you guys seem to think the seeding is up for grabs.

If we are the 3, we are for sure playing Fresno as the 6.
 
That 3 seed seems like maybe the worst look for us. Fresno into possibly SDSU isn't the most fancied first 2 games from my point of view, but when you have to beat em all...I guess you just say fuck it lets beat em all. Can CSU just get bumped the first game they play. I wouldn't mind watching them suffer. Multi conference bids be damned! I'm a little more vindictive when it comes to our rivals then some of you guys I guess. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I don't know if I want CSU knocked off. If we end up in the 4-5 game and CSU is 3 I think CSU would have the best chance to knock SDSU off in the semi's and I would rather play CSU in the finals than SDSU. and if we get 3rd. CSU and BSU would most likely play in the semi's and I would rather play CSU, BSU has been on a roll and we haven't played them since they started their roll so lots of unknowns there. I would love to play CSU in the Finals.
 
Bottom line - champions don't worry about who they're matched up with. They'll play anyone, anywhere.

Our boys sure as shit better have that mindset.

I am not sure how he can think that....The most recent bracketology has Boise in the Last 4 In. How the hell can the Ewes be above them...I honestly won't be shocked if CSU is left home regardless of the game this afternoon....
 
In my opinion that was pretty disrespectful for CSU not to play their best player in the MWC semifinals. Apparently they value first round NCAA ass kickings more than conference championships. What a farce. If they actually make the tourney they will be the shittiest/most overrated team to ever make the NCAAs. The sheep blow
