Election

All I can say is, wow. Of those that truly have a shot, I'm shocked that this is what America can produce. Every year I kind of feel this way but not nearly to the level of this year's leading candidates.

I shutter to think what the next 4 years holds. What do you do when there truly is no good, mediocre, or even bad candidate? Disheartening to say the least and makes me think I must be a total outcast because I sure can't find any good in any of these leading candidates. I just don't know how people are getting behind them.

I at least admire and respect Ben Carson, but he doesn't have a shot.

Rand Paul was my only candidate. Dude always debated the issues and was only one to use the word "Constitution" in the debates

Agreed. Was by far the best choice IMO. I don't even call any fo them "good" or "better" anymore, just "least bad"

After last night, it looks like my least favorite 4 are the 4 frontrunners.
God help us

I know. Most years, I'm not exactly thrilled with the candidates, but I can usually find something about them to choose the lesser evil.

I despise every remaining viable candidate so much, that I don't think I'm even voting for the first time since I became eligible. Out of those 4, I don't care who wins.

At this point I care more about who doesn't win than who does win. There aren't any good candidates, but their is one in particular that would be a disaster (more so than the others) for the country...

One shudders.

It appears that one of the major names still running is not under the NWO. The wrong vote will take away your guns etc. Then the USA will be like the European nations.................................
There were people in Texas saying that their vote for Trump was switched to Rubio by the machine when it went to the last page to check the votes before submitting.
It's a scary time again. Scalia etc.

Let me guess the "one in particular" ....Hillary? If she wins, she'll make Obama look like a saint or Lincoln or Washington or etc...

Sanders would be worse than Hilary, but it looks like he's got a a very slim chance of beating her. Sanders is an avowed socialist. Scary.

Ha, no, talking about Trump. Not a big fan of Hillary, but Trump is a rich biggot that has little to no political experience nor understands how the real world works. Good luck getting anything through Congress when both the Democrats and Republicans are against you.

Why blue collar people support him - a guy who hasn't had to really work a day in his life - is beyond me.

P.S. Before anyone jumps to conclusions, I'm a Republican but not conservative, very centrist, so I feel both sides have their pitfalls as well as their merits.

Holy shit, someone gets it! Donald Trump is the epitome of a 1%.. I'm guessing most of his constituents were were probably at those rallies a year or two ago protesting people like him.

It has nothing to do with his career or his work ethic or where he got his money to become the 1%. He speaks his mind, he speaks to the frustration of the common American. Win lose or draw, you cannot take that away from him. He kisses no ass and tells it like it is

I like Donald Trump - he makes me laugh. I would never vote for him as president. I guess he isn't that good of a comedian though.

Maybe Bill Burr or Lewis Black want to run? I'm sure they could get us laughing and singing along and ready to vote.

What seriously scares me is if Hillary or Trump get into a bind and they decide to run on a ticket together (yah that will never happen). Think about how scary that would be!

I think we are doomed - it gets worse every election cycle. No matter what we do as voters, its always important to try to hold the most power as close to the people as possible (city, then county, then state, etc). Wyoming politicians hear our voice much more than any other political division all the way up to the feds.

** Don't take any of this too seriously. Its mostly a joke. Laugh a bit - hope for the best.

Hillary is going to win. The Republican primary race has assured her becoming POTUS. Republicans will hold the US House, but probably lose the US Senate. That'll be close though....

Kisses no ass? That's all he does! Tells it like it is? From a racist, intolerant, scumbag's point of view maybe. Speaks his mind? Nope, he caters to nothing but the worst in fringe beliefs. Hell, not that long ago he was wining and dining with the Clintons. The guy is as vague on actual policy as most parody movie politicians are, "I will hire the best people!"

We're not arguing about his vague politics. My point was that he is kicking everyones ass because he is tapping a nerve with the American people. For whatever reason, people are intrigued by his message (or lack thereof) and his railing against issues important to the common man. IN terms of him changing his mind and wining and dining other candidates and organizations, Hello! They all do it. Its called politics. Rubio just roasted Trump over the Trump U. issue all the while he agreed to partner with and received money from Corinthian Colleges which screwed over FAR more people than Trump U. No one comes out unscathed and no one is as perfect and innocent as they say. Trump is better at being a politician right now than the politicians are.

That WAS my point. The guy is just another piece of shit politician. And one who caters to 1950s style racism and bigotry at that.
