Edwards has not adapted...

to the modern game. The game is about the 3 point shot. Pokes have no 3 point shooters. We have all this athleticism but nobody can hit the 3 consistently. To be a good team, you should have least a couple of guys than can hit the 3. Its gonna be a long few years under him.

We'd be a good team if he played the right players and had ANY sort of an organized offense. Fire Edwards. I've seen enough

I would say our defense is the bigger issue. Teams shoot well against us because we don't cover the parameter well when teams move the ball.

See what I'm saying they can't cover the parameter for shit. This is a three point shooting tean you can't give them so many open looks.

I wouldn't say he hasn't adapted. Under Edwards we have been a 3 point shooting team. Unfortunately we haven't been a 3 point making team. I think he understands the game is shooting 3's its just that we don't have people to hit them. THis year Hendricks should be that guy and early he was but the last few games he has completely dissapeared.

Perhaps more important to being a good team in this era is being able to defend against the 3 IMO. Shyatt's teams displayed discipline and a willingness to defend the perimeter. I'm not seeing it anymore.

Watching the 3-2 zone is beyond painful for me. You are asking Thompson our Mueller to cover the corner 3's. Why not sit in a 2-3?

I was just looking at stats. Under Schroyer's last year Wyoming gave up 79 points a game (this year we are giving up 78). In Shyatt's first year coaching Wyoming only gave up 56. Edwards might want to find a way to coach defense and stop making excuses. His points against has steadily gone up as a coach.
