I like Eddie, who wouldn't? But what of his on field performance THIS SEASON rates being placed on the list? We all know he was preseason MWC pick. Has that been born out on the field? Just sayin. (flame shield on)

He sees a lot of double teams, backs chipping him, plays going the opposite way, etc.. The lack of sacks and pressure this year is more of an indictment of the other players on the line. No one other than Eddie can beat a single blocker man vs man.

However, the line as a unit is playing better, especially against the run.

I like Eddie....But reality is he is an average player on a piss poor team.

I wouldn't say an average player when he's been a team captain for two years, MWC all-conference two or three times, and has been on a couple of award watch lists and is near the top on UWs career list for sacks and TFLs.

The last one didn't even have to be, the QB had no where to go but down. Poor aiming with his hand. He let go quickly, but too late.
