First of all, you already have us with 0 touchdowns against tcu. Wishful thinking, perhaps?

Second, Glenn had to go. The program was going backwards with him. Only 3 conference victories in 2 years and 2-5 against csu when csu had been down for several seasons. You can argue Sween regressed under Glen. In other words, the talent level was low and he and his staff could'nt coach them up.

Glenn left with the cupboard completely bare. I don't see receivers running open all over the field or running backs ripping through great big holes. Glenn's recruiting classes were consistently close to the very bottom of all the scouting services.

No, things have'nt improved much, if at all. But staying where we were was not an option.

First off...I don't think they will make it to a bowl, after what I witnessed Saturday. I am admitting that. They don't derserve it after that showing...and I don't want to dump a couple grand traveling to a bowl game (which I would do regardless) to see another lack of effort football game. Being somewhat optimistic though...we can still win 2 of the next 3 to become elibible & go.

Second...I think we should line up everyone you think I owe an apology to, and kick them so f&%$ing hard in the nuts their dead great grandparents double over. This last loss is all on those people Mr. clueless...do you not get it? Quit bashing yourself.

I won't apologize for anything... except to say I'm sorry that UW still has "fans" like you hanging around. If anything, Glenn, Cockhill, et al, owe us an apology for forcing us to watch and support less than mediocre football for 6 years!

The program was not doing anything under Glenn, and a change needed to be made. There's no going back now Popcorn, so we all need to learn to live with what we've got. Personally, I'm willing to give Christensen at least two recruiting classes to prove he can upgrade the talent. I can already see improvement in the guys he's brought in and the commitments he has. Hell, we gave Glenn six seasons to prove that he couldn't recruit a D1 caliber athlete. And we kept hearing, "next year, we'll have the guys in place to run our system." Not much different about that right now, but I can see improvement in the quality of athlete DC is bringing in.

Look, I don't like losing to BYnerU any more than any true Pokes fan does. It broke my heart and made me want to puke to see our boys get manhandled the way they did. I don't EVER want to see that happen again. But I'm willing to accept that DC needs time to get his horses in the game, and that's not going to happen overnight. I still expect that we'll be competitive and beat teams like CSU and SDSU down the stretch, and I'll be disappointed if we don't. But I can look to future seasons and see what's coming, and I think it's good.

So no Popcorn (or should I say Mr Cockhill?), I won't apologize to you or anyone else for wearing Brown and Gold glasses and seeing the positives with this program. There's still lots of room up on this bandwagon, and I think these last two games are going to be a lot of fun. Don't jump off the train yet kids, cause it's gonna be a great ride to the finish.
