Early Predictions for MWC in 2011

Just curious how everyone feels the conference will shake out this year....here's my attempt:

1) Boise State
2) TCU
3) San Diego State
4) Air Force
5)Wyoming- headed to another bowl!
6)CSU
7)UNLV
8)New Mexico

This of course would me my expectations for the Cowboys this year, anything less has me wondering about DC has a head coach. hopefully they can jump Air Force or even the Aztecs!

Assuming this is a football thread on this basketball board...

First, UW has to win 7 to make it to a bowl game this year, as we are playing 2 FCS teams. Honesly, I am a bit cautious as to what we will see...on the D side of things we should be PHENOMINAL...on the O side of things, everything but RB is a huge question mark. That leads me to this pre-pre-spring ranking:

1. Boise State (I think they end up in another BCS game).
2. Air Force (I see 1 or 2 losses).
3. SDSU (replacing 2 recievers, but a ton returning for Rocky).
4. TCU (lost everyone, but still compete...I see UW beating them in L-town this year).
4. Wyoming (7 - 8 wins if the ball bounces and we find a QB).
6. New Mexico (Better...but not a contender).
7. CSU (SUCK)
8. UNLV (SUCK BAD).

My bad, i thought I had posted on the football side! Interesting about TCU dropping to 4th. I just see too much speed and talent in the wings for them to drop like that.

I would agree with them going to around 4th. The game I saw the kid who should be running the offense play in I wasnt that impressed

Wasn't too many years ago, that Wyoming beat TCU in Laramie 24-21 (although the game wasn't as close as the score was). I see 2011 as being the very same scenario...starting QB is new, and they were very young everywhere else as well.

I'm sick of losing to them too. It isn't like they are kicking our butts. It fact, it is mostly the opposite. We make a mistake, or the refs call a non-fumble a fumble, and you know the story. Last year it was two things, our inability to stop them on 3rd and 4th down and fumbling late to take away our chance.

I think we take them this year. Our defense will be bigger, stronger, and faster than it was last year. We'll be able to stop them on some drives that we couldn't this year.

Jimmy, where you been?

I knew we were going to lose the second ACS threw the INT in the endzone on the opening drive. We ran the ball down their throat and pissed away some opportunities. AF is a frustrating team because even if it's 3rd and 6, you know that they will be going for it on 4th down if they are passed their own 40.

I have a hard time seeing TCU fall that far.....just so much talent down there. I do see us being able to jump Air Force, that is something very realistic.
