Early line - we are +31.5 at Boise St.

Seems like a lot. I bet against our boys yesterday thinking the bad weather would keep the score low. But this looks like a lot of points. Boise st. might be rejuvenated as all the upsets yesterday might give them a way back into a bcs game. Their defense is vulnerable so maybe we can contol the ball and shorten the game.

Whatever happens, I hope we come out of the game healthy so we can crush csewe on Dec. 3. They are playing a freshman qb now and he looks better than the guy they were playing. Hopefully, their brilliant coaching staff will revert back to Thomas when they play us.

Fellow gamblers: there is no rest for the wicked. K-state was a great win for me as was Ucla over the fluffs.
I stayed clear of the Oregon - USC game as the line got to 15 but I lost with Oklahoma. Still, a very lucky saturday overall.

What a great year so far. It's hard to believe there was a thread on this board after the Utah state game suggesting Wyo. drop down to D2. Weve come a long way, baby!!

Ha, Good point, I forgot about that thread already. We are staring at a 8-9 win season, with an even brighter future.

I have to believe Wyo covers. 30+ points against this Boise State team seems like way too much to me as well.

That obviously means then that Boise will win by 50.

I'm seeing ML at +5500 today; hopefully it stays up there as I will most definitely bet Wyoming at this line. Ever since UCLA in the Las Vegas Bowl, the home game with Virginia and then the upset of Tennessee, betting Wyo ML this large is a must. I agree with you bladerunnr, that lines are harder this late, but there are a few possible values I'm seeing. I'm looking at (all lines as of 11/21):
LSU-450
Michigan State-270
Tennessee-350
Alabama-1300
Miss State-1000
Stanford-250
And I want to throw money at two of the following for the rest of the card
Florida State-130
Texas A&M-310
Tulsa +130

But haven't made up my mind yet.

You won't find any casinos in vegas with the WYO moneyline this week, you would have to bet bodog, sportsbook, or offshore. There were not many here that had WYO for the last three games either, none off the strip.

Also throwing all those on a parlay would pay approximately 7.5:1, having BAMA and MSU doesn't help much, w/o the two the odds decrease 6.1:1. Also if you parlayed LSU, MSU, TENN, BAMA, MSU, and STAN your payout is only 2.6:1. It would be easier to do a spread parlay and get much higher payouts. If you go 4 for 4 the payout is generally around 8:1.

I would just parlay two of them together with a larger bet. A hundo on MSU and STAN would pay 92ish which is almost the same as betting the spread with the juice. To each his own I guess.

I have a bodog account. They never have moneylines on games with spreads of more than 10 points, and usually much less than that.

However, I remember a few casinos, Sunset station, I believe, that had a lot of moneylines for a small casino off the strip. Most of the major casinos on the strip seem to have a lot of moneylines, but probably not on a game with a 32 pt spread. Mrtnt3x, did you post that you bet at the Wynn?

No I didn't, I usually don't get to exotic on my bets anymore besides at the beginning of the year when there are insane lines like LSU -48, but I usually bet at the Red Rock b/c I live on the west end of town.

The only Casino that I know of that has almost all the lines is the Hilton but I tend to stay away from the strip as much as possible. The South Point also has more lines than most so I will go their to post my WYO bets. The stations Casinos (Red Rock, Sunset, Fiesta, etc) don't carry moneylines when the spread is more than 20ish. I have a sportsbook.com account but am scared to put money it for some reason haha.

Happy betting!

Suppose the line is correct. Not saying that it is correct. Not saying I agree. But just theorize. Then what would you expect, GIVEN THIS LINE, would be the most likely score:
BSU 32 Wyo 0
BSU 39 Wyo 7
BSU 48 Wyo 16
BSU 53 Wyo 21
BSU 65 Wyo 33

Yeah, very unlikely. Look at BSU this year......even the teams the Broncos are much better than......Its blowout in the 1st half, ugly conservative crap in the 2nd half. In the worst scenario, I see Wyoming getting down something like 35-7 at half, then losing 42-21 at the end. Petersen is just not the type to run up the score or scrape and claw for everyone point. -31.5 is way too large a gap.

Thanks man, good stuff. I think we think alike.

My betting is tempered this late in the season. Trying to think back, I don't think I've won a card in November since Clinton. By this time in the season, I'm still fairly comfortable picking winners for ML parlays, and maybe sliding in an upset or two just to give the odds a boost and have fun. But this late is definitely only betting peanuts for me. One peanut to win two and a half. Can't pick spreads to save my life.

And when the money lines come out where I go later in the week, we'll see if Wyoming's on the board. The book I frequent usually has most ML's regardless. I remember they didn't have the New Mexico ML for the TCU game this year because it was like +85000 or some such nonsense. Even if it's not on the board, the manager is pretty good about taking a wager. They didn't have Wyoming at the beginning of the season for win totals but I asked and he offered odds on 6 total wins at, if memory serves, +150. Didn't bet it, and thankfully because I most likely would have taken the under.

I'm still very interested in Florida State (EDIT: FSU not an upset) and Nevada this week for upsets. We'll see.

I usually hit a couple early in the season and then coast and try and play on house money until the playoffs for the NFL and Bowl Season. Two seasons ago I had WYO, AFA, BYU, UU all parlayed on the ML with TCU on the points. 20 dollar bet to win like 700, luckily I went hedged my bet before the TCU game putting 150 on BSU to cover, but I still pissed on the ticket in my backyard when TCU lost, I was :tickedoff: as hell!
