"The first day I came in, I threw up. I’m not going to lie," Rufran said with a laugh. "It was after ropes, and I couldn’t move. I went to try to get to the trash can, and I couldn’t because if I moved I was going to throw up. I took off my shirt, I made a little ball, and I threw up right in my shirt.
"It was all good. I just had to throw the shirt away after.”

Laramie has a very distinct advantage over more than half of the Mountain West, they should be able to wear a team down with no problem, but we don't see that too often. I nice long 7 minute drive of grinding down a defense should wear a defense out to absurd levels at 7200 feet.. more of those types of drives would be nice.

Here is every loss in Bohl's tenure at NDSU, and how much they lost by.hithere said:Aaron said:Every article I read gets me more pumped. Exactly. Every new coach I can remember has changed the culture.
My enthusiasm is tempered until we don't lose (and for the first time ever in Laramie) to Fresno by 40+ points. Or maybe pull an upset or two. That will be great.

I know the "Powder River, Let 'er Buck!" cry came from WWI, but did it come from the battle of Bellue Woods?jarhead said:I am not sure I like the reference Wyo is using......."War Daddies". Sounds too much like "Sugar Daddies". If we want to portray toughness and grit then perhaps we should have looked to the USMC. During WWI in France at an obscure patch of timber in a place called Bellue Woods, the Marines were pinned down and for all practical purposes beaten. However they would not give up, they fought with the tenacity of possesed spirits. The Germans grew to respect and eventually to fear the fighting spirt of the United States Marine. They witnesses a fighting will that couldn't be explained. Through six attacks, numerous mustard gas attacks, and eventually hand to hand combat, the Marines continued to fight. Captain Lloyd Williams said when asked if they should retreat..."Retreat he'll we just got here!" General Pershing said that "the deadliest weapon in the world is a Marine with a rifle". The Germans came to call the Marines "Teufel Hunden" translated to DEVIL DOG ! So....rather than War Daddies, perhaps we should consider "War Dogs". "Release the hounds and unleash the Dogs of War". Oooooooo Rahhhhh!
