[This is My O face]

I, as an Oregon fan, am trying my best to muster up a little hate for you guys and this game. So, to try and get the ball rolling, my score prediction is:

Ducks: Eleventy Billion
Pokes: I haz sadz

Thoughts?

Agreed. My interest in Oregon is near zero. I hope they don't buy out of their visit to Laramie in 2017; if so I'll probably hate them. But for the time being, nothing there really to hate.

Well I just figured since YOU wandered onto a University of Wyoming board I didnt need to explain which UW I was speaking in reference to... Apparently Oregon is a football school only, academics? Whutz thet?

The ducks got way up emotionally late in the game to pull off the come from behind victory against Mich St. And of course they're overlooking the Cowboys. Oregon plays Washington State next Saturday, right? You won't convince me they've spent this week preparing for lowly Wyoming when they've got their conference opener next week. We've got a new coach, a new QB, a lot of young faces, and a not-very-good-last-season defense. Of course they're overlooking us. Classic scenario for an upset.

This is a no-win situation for Oregon, and a no-lose situation for the Cowboys. Oregon wins by 10, or 20, or 60, and no one thinks twice about it, that's what was supposed to happen. We win, even by a point with a blocked last minute field goal, and the football world loses its collective mind.

And yes, most of this is TIC. Just don't expect the Cowboys to roll over and die in this one - that ain't our style. Win or lose, the Ducks will know they were in a fight come Saturday evening.

Rolling over and dying is not a trait of your team. We have seen that in your current team and your new coach. Yes, we had an emotional win. However, we live to "Win The Day" and see every foe as a faceless opponent. I disagree that it's a no-win for us. If we win by 50 or more, the country will view that as a "win" for us. If we play a close game, not so much. Here's to an injury-free game and a phenomenal rest of the season for both of us.

Anything said from a barkbiter is taken with a huge grain of salt. "Most people" don't hate duck fans. It's typically the bandwagon fans of other teams that have read that narrative. If you go onto other message boards and see the comments, they are usually fact-based and amicable. However, "fans" like yourself, are the ones that are bitter and try to follow said narrative because it makes you feel better.

Do we have some trashy fans? Of course. Do you? Absolutely. Does every, other team in football, hands down. Except that the majority of Duck fans are good, classy people. You pick out a small sampling and apply it to all fans. Just what we would expect from a baver. Try a little harder, kid brother.

I guess I don't "know the angles" but I would caution you on betting the spread.

Yeah, we do. We've heard it all about not being able to compete. People said the same thing about Nebraska last season. And Texas a few years before that. And UCLA. And Tennessee. And Ole Miss. I realize that this particular team didn't play most of those games, and we've had some significant changes this season. But the bottom line is this, we don't think the Pokes can compete with anyone, we KNOW they can. We're realistic about our chances, but they play the game for a reason, and the ball bounces in funny ways sometimes.

We believe it. You should expect nothing less.

one thing you should never do is underestimate your opponent, i know how all you big school fans are, and don't give the little guy a chance in hell, one of these days I'm gonna be there when we do beat a big boy, see the game for what is otherwise why the hell are we even making the trek to Autzen then???? besides the paycheck, i can't wait til the Power 5 break away so we Little guys have our own thing to play for. Any team in current D1 can be a Boise St, why not this year, our schedule stacks up if there was a year to pull the upsets, why not us. don't freak too much when we take the lead in this game early from your hangover from that MSU game, we know we can't win, but I'm gonna be there to see it if for nothing but the experience only....GO POKES

Compare alumni? I had to check to see who would be some of your famous alumni. Hell, you're not kidding. You have a guy that runs sweatshops across Asia, the Bionic Woman, Johnny Fever from WKRP and Uncle Joe from Petticoat Junction. We have Fennis Dembo. Suck on that for a while.
