I think its super encouraging that we are beating teams without our three ball. One of my main concerns early was that we were going to live and die. I think these last three halves have been a godsend in a way. Gives our players the confidence that even though shots aren't falling you can still win and play good basketball and score other ways.

Make no mistake about it, DU is a very good program and NMSU has won the WAC each of the last 3 seasons. We aren't playing Western State, we are beating respectable programs. I fully expect these teams to be playing for their conference championships
