So Tracy Ringolsby wants people held accountable... well let's discuss that for a second.
So you don't want liars associated with UW? Fair enough but ponder this... Since you call Sternberg a deceiving liar I guess the same can be said of Dave Christensen. DC arrives in Laramie claiming he will turn the program around, start winning conference championships, recruiting talent, increasing the depth of our team. He has done nothing of the sort. But beyond that he ruffled all kinds of feathers when he first arrived, firing many on the staff who deserved to stay, and alienated many around the university. Sound familiar? At least DC got more than 4 months.
We had MANY MANY others within the university that needed to be held accountable before Sternberg. If You and the BOT will not tolerate such actions by Sternberg what makes the actions of Christensen tolerable? Perhaps some are content with 4-5 wins a year and consider that good enough. Obviously Sternberg wanted to hold the university and it's athletic programs to a higher standard. Now whether he lied to pursue his agenda does not surprise me. The presidency of any University is a "politcal" position. We all know politicians have lied to further their agenda.
What I'd also like to know from Tracy is how much better off we are now because Sternberg is gone. Is this going to improve our athletics programs with him now gone? If so... how? I don't know how any fan can consider the Sternberg firing as a positive for athletics.
