I was talking with some of the SDSU fans after the game, they believe Penny may declare this year as well.

That seems kind of silly. He's obviously talented, but he has yet to show he can handle being a featured back. Big difference between 120 carries and 250-300 carries.
Personally I think he is better than Pumphrey given as many carries. He is quick.

Doesn't matter a ton for us since we don't play Aztecs next season, do we?

In the mountain west championship we will [emoji12] but that would be it.

I was wondering about this myself. This was the last year of the first 4-year cross-divisional rotation. So do they just start it over or switch things up next year?

Apparently this is what it looks like:
* MWC home games: Colorado State, Fresno State, Hawaii, New Mexico
* MWC road games: Air Force, Boise State, San Jose State, Utah State

I think we can go undefeated at home again, but will have two really tough roadies.

Totally missed that on FBSchedules when I made the last post. If that's the case, then the 4-year cycle just starts over. That sets up nicely for us, in my mind.

I was just talking about conference play, but, yes, I totally agree.

Every game could be a dog fight next year. CSU and New Mexico will both be solid teams. I would expect Utah State to rebound. The Mountain Division will be tough!

Man, I watched CSU's last couple of games. It's not the same team that started this season, that's for sure.

Oh it matters, playing us or not, SDSU will not be the same team offensively without them. I would love to see them in the cellar - arrogant bastards.

Did anybody catch what McShay had to say about him?
Said Hill should definitely stay. Compared Donnel to Sproles. Said he could see Tanner and Roullier on pro rosters. Said Josh is there physically just needs more reps mentally. Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong

You pretty much covered it. On Allen, he added that it'd be foolish to declare after next season too. Basically saying he sees a correlation between college starts and NFL success for a QB.

I've read that McNichols is likely to declare simply because his workload has been too heavy. Scouts don't want RBs with a ton of mileage. For that reason, I can't blame Brian for declaring.

That said, this is a crazy deep RB class. thirtyseven listed a lot of good ones, and that list doesn't even include all of the stud RBs.

I think he stays. I realize lots think he's gone, but there's too much star power in this year's RB class. If he stays a year and has another great year, he'll vastly improve his stock.
