Do your best T.O. impression and tell me..

wow, really? Nobody is going to name the starting qb by the end of camp?

Do I need to start name-dropping by asking McPeachy or whoever about Dax Crum's chances to start?

Come on ppl..don't make this board suck unless its threads about the Texas game

What else is there to be said about our starting QB. Right now it is Sween at #1 on the depth chart going into fall camp. I haven't even seen ACS or Benjamin running the offense against our D to have any opinion about their ability to lead the team as our QB. I'm sure DC will give them both a chance and will make an evaluation of them. He has seen enough QBs and has had enough success to know who gives us the best chance of success.

Sween starts the season, Benjamin comes in for him during the Texas game and doesn't look back. Benjamin, by not having been through spring drills or summer workouts is obviously way behind the curve. So with that layoff, it's hard to imagine him starting opening day.

Ahhh...we have a wiener. Sween will get the nod on 9/05, but count on seeing ACS that day. There is some interesting stuff going on with our QB situation right now...more to follow...

I don't care who the starter will be, but I think the mentality has to be..."who gives us the best chance to win this week". If Sween is the best chance to beat Weber State, then he should start. Then if someone else, through athleticism or whatever gives us the best chance to beat Texas then they should start that week. I don't mean like last year when we just kept trying different guys each week, but really who gives us the best chance to win. Yes, last year guys were not getting it done so yeah you have to try something else, but 4 different starters in one year tells me you really don't have a good system of evaluating them.

It sounds obvious and simple, but like the old sayings, take it one week at a time, this weeks game is the most important game. Anyone that thinks we need to play guys to get them experience for later in the season or the next game is losing sight of how we have managed to blow many winnable games lately, we haven't been and currently are not good enough to think long term. Wyo needs to do everything we can to beat Weber State, then worry about the next game the week after.

My guess as to a starter vs Weber St is Sween, this is a total guess and I really don't care as long as we beat Weber St. So while I personally don't care who the starter is, I will be very interested finding out who I will be watching opening weekend, I can't wait to get the DC era started.
