I don’t really remember much talk about this kid on the board other than when he first signed and a new account showed up telling us all how he was the next coming of Tom Brady. I suspect that was probably a family member or agent.

Don't blame him. Maybe he isn't good. Maybe the staff isn't good at evaluation (they obviously aren't). Best of luck to him.

From Sawvel’s statements talking about other QBs watching film on Saturdays when discussing Baptiste’s departure, I suppose his dedication might have been questioned (reading between the lines).

Sawvel’s decisions on quarterbacks has to be questioned. It took him 3/4 of last season to finally figure out that Svoboda wasn’t a D1 quarterback, when it was apparent after the second game.

Pokes are notorious for not having enough quarterbacks, by the middle of the season they will be down to two quarterbacks, and have tried both. I don't know how you can go into a season and not have enough quarterbacks. But we have historically done just that.

I don't trust Sawvell any farther than I can throw him when it comes to quarterback evaluation.

That is scary. Have not seen Drube play at all but Sawvel's track record at QB evaluation is worrisome.
