Agree %. Unfortunately OSU believes they are better than the other lower tier schools. I believe they are the ones driving the BS, and Wazoo is just following along!

I agree. Oregon State is not far from UOregon so OSU's has to have a big ego. Think USU and BYU. Lousy analogy but oh, well...

Wazzu on the other hand is so far away from Seattle they don't have an ego but...they follow OSU around like a poor puppy dog. I honestly think if it was up to Wazzu alone, they would've joined the MW and be done with it.

I still believe OSU and Boise will both end up in the Big 12 and leave everyone else in the PAC Whatever including Wazzu to fend for themselves. Before anyone asks, no idea what will eventually happen to Fresno and SDSU.

Wazzu also knows what their fans want, they've scheduled Idaho in basketball and football for years, hell they're playing each other in football in 27 and 29 as of rn, probably will be scheduled further. Wazzu understands how the "Smaller" schools operate and is in touch with that, I'm sure if they had joined the MW they would've pushed for Idaho to join if the finances were right. I give them a lot of respect for that, it's a shame OSU likely kept the merger from happening
