I can't believe people can even argue about Desmar Jackson.

He would not be an amazing player if he coached under Shyatt

He has zero intention to play defense.

Anyone who doesn't play defense shouldn't be on the court.

That is a pretty ignorant comment, Just because he never had anyone coach him defense doesn't mean he has no intention of playing holy shit you guys are so judgmental and carry grudges on people wow.

Desmar was a good player and I imagine he could play good D if he wanted to. I don't think the current pokes just played good d when they came to UW. They were coached up. I imagine if he had stayed, his D would have improved or he would sit and then transfer. My gut says he would have played up since coach shy seems to get the most out of his guys.

I would love for you to point out anywhere in the thread none said they want him on the team for gods sake this thread was pointing out a player with his ON COURT skills coached by Shyatt could be a really good payer.

According to the article, he doesn't show up for practice, there is an "I" in team for him, and he doesn't even show respect. Abilities on the hardwood aside, character is also a major part of being a student athlete. Shyatt preaches team defense and offense. Jackson has not shown to be a team player at all.
